Masterful Restoration Lasting Value Connecting the World

01 — Who we are

A trade-only supplier.
Not a retailer.

Angel Musical Instrument (Liaoning) Co., Ltd. established operations in Yingkou Comprehensive Bonded Zone in 2020, focusing on bonded logistics for imported pre-owned pianos.

We handle sourcing, prep, and export logistics so you can stay focused on sales. Every relationship we build is meant to last.

In this business, reputation moves slower than freight — and lasts longer.

We would rather earn trust shipment by shipment than chase a quick deal. Volume comes and goes. Partnerships should not.

02 — Process

Ten steps, from arrival to export.

From incoming inspection to container loading, we check quality along the way, and pianos are shipped only after passing a final inspection.

  1. Incoming inspection

Pianos arrive at our central warehouse, where each one is assessed; only pianos we judge suitable for reconditioning enter the workshop.

  2. Deep cleaning

Interior and exterior surfaces are thoroughly cleaned to remove years of dust, stains, and residue.

  3. Case refinishing & polishing

Cases are carefully sanded and polished to reduce scratches and blemishes and bring back a high-gloss finish.

  4. Keytop polishing & replacement

Keytops are polished for a smooth feel; cracked or damaged keytops are replaced with closely matched materials.

  5. Action component replacement

Technicians replace worn action parts as needed and adjust each action by hand.

  6. Complete piano rebuild

For clients requiring a full upgrade, strings, hammers, and other core components are rebuilt and carefully adjusted.

  7. Action regulation & keybed setup

Key weight, height, and dip are measured and regulated with reference to the manufacturer’s specifications.

  8. Regulation, voicing & tuning

Note by note, working towards even tone colour and balance across the range, followed by careful tuning.

  1. Pre-shipment final inspection

Each piano is checked before shipment. Issues we find are reworked, and only pianos that pass are approved for shipping.

  2. Container loading & export

Refurbished pianos are professionally packed into ocean containers and shipped from the Port of Dalian to partners worldwide.

04 — Since 1861 · A Treaty Port

Our City — Yingkou

Angel Musical is based in Yingkou, Liaoning, where the Liao River meets Liaodong Bay. Under the Treaty of Tianjin (1858), the river port of Newchwang was designated for foreign trade; because the river there had silted, the port opened downstream at Yingkou in 1861 — the first treaty port in Northeast China. Western traders kept the treaty's name, Newchwang.

In 1864 the Newchwang Customs House opened here, the first customs office in the region. For decades the city was a principal outlet for the trade of Manchuria; consulates, trading houses, banks and churches followed, and buildings from that era still stand along the old riverfront.

Today the Port of Yingkou, with its deep-water Bayuquan harbour, is one of the largest in Northeast China, and Dalian lies about 200 km to the south. We work from a city that has traded with the world for more than 160 years.
